Good places to hide a journal?

I want to keep it away from my brother, and he's taller than me. He knows that I keep a journal, and he would do anything to find it. I don't want journals with a lock or "save your journal in your computer" type of ideas plz!

  1. Keep it with a good friend of yours.

or u could keep it in ur mom's purse(if she respects ur privacy and doesnt read it).

  2. Between the mattress and wall if your bed is against the wall? In a drawer (not underwear, that's the first place ppl look)? Keep it with you? write in code?

I dunno. Perhaps some item of your furniture has a space you could use, like a space between a bottom drawer and the floor.

  3. under your mattress,

    between your underwear,

in a drawer full of school books,

    inside a big old boot...

hope i was able to help!!!

  4. in a dresser, pull out the drawer and lay it in there then put the drawer back in over top of it, or in front of it.

i have a basket of stuffed animals, i used to hide things in there on the bottom.

Put your diary inside a desktop computer. Most computers have lots of empty space inside the case, and very few people think to look inside them.Just be sure not to store it somewhere where it will damage your computer, start a fire or block airflow to components that need cooling

Lift a removable ceiling panel (if you have one) and place your diary on one next to it.

    good luck  ;)

  5. i would try in your backpack, and i would keep your journal in something that looks like a school notebook, even though it's summer. I did this when i was little. I had a regular sprial bound notebook i put math and stuff that looked like school work in the first few pages to make it look like a school book. Then you can keep your thoughts in the rest of it...hope this helps

  6. Hi,

is there a crevice under or in your heating or air conditioning that it would fit in?

do you have any vcr tapes in your room?  would it fit in one of the boxes?

tape it on the underside of a drawer

wrap it in some clothing in a drawer

a pocket of some jacket in your closet

under some things in the back of your closet

hollow out a book and put the journal in there

behind a picture frame on the wall

    cleverly disguised in your bedding

behind or under some furniture that is not in your room - someplace in the house no one goes - does it have to be in your room?

under your tv if it has a hollow spot

    taped behind furniture, under furniture

what if you asked your parents for a locking safe/box, since their nosy, disrespectful, and invasive son won't leave your journal alone - a key is a lot easier to hide.

    that's all i got

sorry about your lack of privacy

  7. Write with a pen invisible in normal light and over-write the page with anything else in regular ink.  The journal stuff would only be visible in UV light.  You could begin a collection of hand-copied recipes or poetry or anything in a scrapbook or small photo album (from Dollar Tree or similar).

You could cover key sections with clippings from magazines held in place with Post-a-Note repositionable glue-stitck.

He'd see the book, but he might believe you've given up on keeping a journal ... or keep a *small* journal as a Decoy and continue trying to hide/guard the Decoy.  Write very tiny in the decoy.  Put the decoy in a zip-lock bag so you can keep it with you at all times.  Sew pockets into all of your clothing, even nightwear.  It might fool him for a while.

Price a Safe Deposit Box at a bank, for filled journals.

One place a guy might not look: inside a box of feminine hygiene products (open half across the smallest side and put a false side inside, less likely to be checked than a false bottom in a jewelry box) or inside the bottom of a box of boutique facial tissue.
