Good places to write a novel??

Question

I know what I'm going to do when I leave school; I'm going to sit in a quiet cafe and write there... But seeing as I'm still in school I don't know where to go! My house is way too noisy and my room is just uncomfortable!

If it helps, I'm writing in an exercise book not a laptop/computer =)

but seriously you need to find a place that's local to you and somewhere you can easily acess if you have friends who write join them somewhere like i do say at their house but it's all up to how you can get there

To find the perfect place........ think to yourself.  Where would you go on a nice day to think if you got kicked out of your house.

Park?

Cafe?

Library?

Your place should be peacful to all senses which would allow you to think.

maybe you could go to a public library or even the school library. go to the time when there are least people around, so its quiet. my home is noisy too, i will always go to the nearby public library to study there. Good luck on your novel! :)

I write at school (I'm in high school). I also like to sit outside and write...the noises of nature are soothing and the fresh air helps me think.

Do you have any trees you can climb? I used to climb this huge tree in my backyard to read when I was younger. Maybe climb a tree and write. Do you have a beach nearby? Maybe set up a table and a chair on your grass (if you have a lawn). You could go to a library, too, if you wanted.

There's nothing more to be a quiet place than in your own room. Try to fix it up. Besides, I have also a very clumsy room but I always make sure that it wound trouble me much and it is only where I find a very quiet place.

I get with a group of my friends and we all write together to ask one another questions and bounce ideas off one another. It is great. We listen to music and write heaps.

We meet up at each others houses often and lock ourselves in a room with junk food. It is awesome.
