Question:

Good point and shoot digital?

I'm looking for a good point and shoot digital camera, but I'm having trouble finding one that meets all or almost all of my criteria.

Fast lens speed

8-10 mega-pixels

Face detection

low F number

small size

clear images with good color reproduction

movie mode

Image stabilization (preferably optical)

$150-$300 Price range

I really want fast lens speed, because i currently have one of those really slim point and shoot sony cameras but its lens speed is so slow that everything blurs in the darker settings.

I'm looking at cameras more with the lens that pops out of the camera like the sony dsc-150 or the nikon s550.

Thanks in advance

  2. I would go with a Canon PowerShot.  Excellent cameras for a fair price.   Best camera I've had for the money.  Check them out:
