Good postworkout carb...............?

Ok I'm depending on an answer for when I get back from doing my workout........ please....

ok.... whats a good post workout carb source?

I'm thinking either

2 whole wheat pita breads( 31 carbs) ,

banana(31 carbs),

a green apple (22 carbs)

blueberries ( like 30 carbs)

2 no sugar oatmeals(38 carbs)?

what do you think?

or do you have any other reccomendations....

Im taking this alone with a protein shake

  1. I'd go with blueberries. Not only are they a carb, but they're a really good source of antioxidants and vitamins.  


  2. Men's health recommends chocolate milk post workout. Something in the drink helps to repair muscles. I would say 1/2 c. chocolate milk with 1/2 a banana would be a supreme post workout snack. Otherwise, I would say a soy fruit smoothie.
