Question:

Good pre-schools in Abu Dhabi?

I'll be moving to Abu Dhabi in a few months, with my two sons.

I'm looking for a suitable pre-school for my eldest son (3.5 years old) in Abu Dhabi. I wanted him to attend the British school there, but at this time of the year, they already have enough applications for his age group and can only consider adding him to the waitlist. I will try again for the British School next year, but in the meantime I would like him to attend an excellent pre-school that would prepare him for the British system of education.

I already have a number of recommendations from colleagues in Abu Dhabi - I would welcome a parent's view on each of them:

a) Humpty Dumpty - looks good, but they only take children up to 4 years of age???? My son will turn 4 in June and I need something for the entire year.

b) First steps ???

c) International School of Chouiefat?

Any other recommendations will be helpful along with info on admissions procedures, timings, etc.

  1. I dont know much about parenting and stuff but I'd suggest you could visit a few pre-schools there, just to see what they are like and which one seems like the best?
