Good pub for informal business meeting near Russell Square?

I have to find a decent pub for a fairly informal (yet business-related) meeting on Friday afternoon / evening. It needs to be somewhere near Russell Square.

There used to be a great place near there called the Sun on Lamb's Conduit Street, but I think that has now closed - so can anyone recommend a good pub that will be reasonably quiet and sufficiently presentable to meet contacts in, but isn't a horrid, phoney wine bar?

Not sure if this is too far for you, but there is a really good pub near Chancery Lane tube station called the king of diamonds.  Its been a couple of years since I've been, but I can't imagine its changed much.  They also do good food and have a good selection of beers.

Just dont go at lunch time as it gets really busy!
