Question:

Good quality camera at a fairly low price?

I considering buying a new digital camera. Nothing fancy, just something that will take good pictures. I am looking at overstock.com (cheap shipping) and I don't know which camera to buy. Any suggestions? The camera doesn't have to be carried by overstock. Just any camera that is good quality and not too pricey will do. Thanks.

  1. You get what you pay for. I have a point and shoot Canon that is great. I also have an "older" 10D and I love it.

I will always stick with Canon because they are quality cameras.  You can spend less (e.g., Kodak) but they aren't as good.

  2. yup just look into any Casio or Nikon digital cameras they have a huge variety!

i've always bought casio and nikon's bc they don't have as many problems as other brands!

  3. Well if you are in USA go to Wal-Mart. They have decent cameras from Canon and Nikon, to less expensive from Polaroid. I work at my local Wal-Mart, but not in the photo-center so I don't know the best one, but I'm sure you can find a decent one at a fair price.

You can also see what they have at Wal-Mart.com

  4. The all time winner bargain compact digital camera is the Canon 7.1 megapixel PowerShot SD1000 [not the IS] 7.1  with an added  2- gig memory card which when set in the manual mode for "Vivid" colors and videos at 30 fps in 320 dpi format provides killer images and videos.  It currently sells for $160 at Sears:

    Good luck!
