Good quality water proof camera?

i am looking into buying a camera. i have had a sony cybershot, which i loved, but it was not durable, and it broke. i tried a casio exilim, and found the quality not good. i would really like a waterproof one, so i dont have to worry about it getting wet, and so i can take underwater pictures. does anyone have an OLYMPUS STYLUS 790SW 7.1MP camera, is it good picture quality, and is it worth buying compared to other cameras? please help. thanks

Just to let you know most underwater cameras are poor at taking pictures on land. Don't expect too much from underwater cameras. Their image quality is not as good as some other cameras, because they mostly focus on building a water tight camera. A better option, and the more expensive option no doubt is to buy a good camera and an underwater casing for it.
