  1. Tony's. It's somewhat off of Broadway- great Italian food. And RIDICULOUSLY cheap! You can get a HUGE plate of spaghetti thats VERY VERY filling for $10.

  2. I've never been but I read a great Y! A the link below.  If I ever make it to New York I know i'm going to check it out...

  3. Carmines www.carminesnyc.com Buy for one eat for three. LARGE, GINORMOUS PORTIONS!! $150 will eat for 8...and I mean STUFF YOU!!

  4. Like someone else here said, Carmines! It is one of the best italian food establishments in NYC! The protions are family style though, so if you are going alone, be prepared to take half of it home, and if you are going with your family and friends, order half, becuase one portion is more than enough to feed three regular people, or two starving people. It is pretty resonably priced too! You must go there if you are in the neighborhood!

    Carmines- Upper West Side

    2450 Broadway

    New York City, NY 10024

    212.362.2200

  5. If you are dining near The Village, you have plenty of good cheap places since it serves all the boho's there.

  6. I love Crispo on 14th street between 7th and 8th. Affordable italian restaurant. Good inexpensive winelist too.

  7. Le Jardin is GREAT as is Cafe Fegora.

Also in SoHo you could go to Balthazaar
