The zen center I go to serves these with tea - and I never think to ask for the recipe....

And I am craving them like crazy right now.

Anyone have a great recipe for something like this?

  1. 1/2 cup raisins

    1/2 cup almond butter

    1/3 cup dry soymilk powder

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 tablespoon water

Optional: unsweetened, shredded coconut, sesame seeds or chopped nuts

Grind raisins in food processor with metal blade. Add remaining ingredients, and process until smooth. Shape into 16 balls. Roll balls in coconut flakes, sesame seeds, or chopped nuts if desired. Chill.

  2. The other person is right, but if you use oatmeal use the instant variety it is partially cooked, even almond flour or ground almonds, raisins, graham wafer crumbs and a bit of vanilla.

I make a Indian milk fudge and use almond butter in it, even my carrot halwa is flavoured with it.
