Good record and music stores in Leipzig?

I'm visiting some friends in Leipzig next January for a week or so, and I can't wait to check out all the music and record stores. I'm a dj of electronica, EBM, synth and industrial, and I want to buy lots and lots of albums that I can't get too easily in the US.

So, which record stores are good? I will be staying mostly in central Leipzig, Connewitz, and I may be taking a day or two in Berlin. Also, I want to visit Nordhausen and maybe Hamburg. Any advice about music stores in these cities would be amazingly helpful!!!

I have been to Leipzig and have a friend that lives there. I do not know shops names literally but many shops are just privately owned shops and only lately the last few years are places adding more commercialized music stores, so the best thing to do is stop at the Rathaus or City Hall and ask for a town map and directions to the differant music shops.

I CAN ask my friend but I am not sure how long it will take him to reply and he just moved to Leipzig from Weimar two months ago also!

They have a Zoo in Leipzig and a really old large stone memorial to the Napoleonic wars, many many steps to the top!!
