Its mine and my boyfriend's 3rd anniversary this friday, and we'd like to find somewhere in Birmingham for a meal. Both of us hate pretension, and would love somewhere cosy and intimate, and suggestions?!

  1. Don't go for a single option. So have choices. Refer the site for choices.

  2. Try Lasan in the jewellery quarter if you like indian:

Probably the best restaurant i've ever been to and most people i know who've been say the same thing. Many many times better than a typical curry house, for the quality of food it is actually quire reasonably priced.

  3. if you like indian, then Blue Mango by the canal is fantastic

  4. Depends what kind of food you like and whereabouts you are.

Da Santino in Dorridge is a lovely place. I have eaten there many times.

  5. I was in Birmingham last weekend and we found a fab Italian restaurant called 'Locanto Picalilli' just off St. Paul's Square. It was lovely - there was enough on the menu to suit fussy eaters & everything else. The atmosphere was lovely and it was perfect for all ages. Ask to be seated upstairs, as this is a better environment.

  6. i dont know which ones is good! so it would be better to ask someone else!!!

  7. If you have a toby carvery near you, try it.

  8. the sushi bar in selfridges and also the thai place in there

  9. Rimmini's in Selly Oak  is an Italian which is very reasonable priced with good service and a very good menu. But its not licenced so take your own alcohol. If you've a bit more cash try Jonothans on the Hagley Rd. Its good quality and the place is very cosy as it has lots of little alcoves so its great for couples who want a bit of privacy.
