Good restaurant in Harrogate??

Question

Am staying in Harrogate on Tuesday night and wondered if anyone can recommend a good restaurant where the chef takes pride in his work and serves actually tasty good value food. Near to the City Centre would be good as close to hotel.

Dont mind if english, thai or any kind of fusion just want a tasty meal, anyone got any recommendations. Many thanks.

The Drum and Monkey is a well known restaurant which specialises in Fish dishes....used to be very very good, but has changed hands now, so not as sure...but I used to love it, great atmosphere....think they have a website, but can be found online on a search of Harrogate restaurants on Google maps...hope you enjoy if you go.

Can't recommend a restaurant, but if it's tea and cakes you're after, it's GOT to be Betty's.  World famous tea rooms!
