I am looking for a good restaurant in San Antonio that has a patio. I would like to go to someplace with a good atmosphere (not necessarily on the riverwalk) that is reasonably priced to have a couple of drinks and dinner.

  1. I like Pericos on Bandera.  Good mexican food.

  2. Chesters Burgers on Pat Booker rd. or Pei-Wei on 1604E near Northwoods center.

  3. It's not in San Antonio, but it is close.

Try The Grist Mill in Greune Texas.  Good Food!  And, you can sit outside overlooking the Guadalupe River.

  4. Well, i know the riverwalk restaurants are more expensive but it really is a nice atmosphere if it's not too hot/humid.

  5. There are a ton of restaurants in San Antonio with patios.  You didn't mention what type of food you were looking for.  Makes it hard to narrow it down.

  6. I really like Canyon Cafe in The Quarry.  It's got a small patio, but the atmosphere is really nice and the food and drinks are really good too. The food is kinda Southwesterny and they make KILLER margaritas.  It's not 'cheap' but it won't break the bank either.  Good luck! Here's a link.....

  7. you can go to the wild fish seafood grille

  8. It does depend on what type of food you're looking for. If you're looking for a nice brunch, there is this nice restaurant in the Gunther House Hotel. It has a lovely patio as well as a comfortable indoor place. There's a museum inside and a small shop.

If you're looking for something more touristy (aka little mexico of san antonio) go To the Market Square next to the police station, and visit either La margarita or Mi Tierra. Both have good food, drinks, and patios. They're owned by the same people, but I think Mi Tierra is less expensive with a mariachi bar.

If you're looking mainly for drinks with some fun seafood, you could go to Joe's crab shack or Crabby Jacks (or Joe I forget). They have a lively atmosphere, so be prepared if you're looking for something quieter.

If you're looking for something cheap but good, go to any Taco Cabana in town.

There are lots with patios because of the wonderful texas weather. There are plenty on the riverwalk and downtown, and lots of little places all around town.
