what are you looking for?  A really good Lebanese is Mazati in Small St, it has the advantage of being quite an atmospheric place, so dont go on your own!  

OR, for the best fish visit Fish Works in Clifton.

OR Rajpoot for Indian food, again in Clifton

OR for sophistication, Bells Diner in Montpelier

1/ the Thai Elephant

2/ the Thai Basil

have a good meal.

If you venture into Bath then Cafe Rouge is very good, as is Raphaels.

Yum Yum Thai in Bath is excellent too.
