In Brisbane, Australia. I was thinking kind of like go out to dinner somewhere cool and interesting. Teppanyaki's been done, so is there any other cool dining experience that could be done? Dinner shows maybe or any nice restaurant? Price dosen't matter. Something with a menu that's not to sophisticated (like not mainly prime beefs and lobster or whatever, if that makes sense) something with a decent range of food for teenagers. But I want it to be pretty classy-ish :S

  1. If you are looking for something that is interesting I would definitely recommend Garuva in Fortitude Valley. The food was delicious (and not too sophisticated) and the relaxed atmosphere of the place was awesome. To top it off you have the novelty of sitting down on cushioned rugs (with back rests so you can lean back and rest your full stomach in comfort lol) with a curtain drawn around you - it certainly gives you privacy whilst you dine with your friends. The bar was exceptional as well, we got to wait in there while our table was being prepared so there was never a dull moment.

  2. Can you maybe search on Menulog and see what you can find? Then just post a quick description with a link to Menulog (and maybe a listing of the same venue on YourRestaurants.com.au or Eatability if they have extra info)
