Good restaurants in the Vancouver area. For any type of food.?

Any type of food and any price range. We have eaten at all the norms, Cactus Club, Milstones, Boathouse etc, we really like Hy's steakhouse, Gotham, and Capones Restaurant and Jass Club, but would like somewhere new to go. Where do you recommend and why?

Try the Watermark at Kits Beach (www.watermarkrestaurant.ca). The food is decent, albeit a little pricey, but the setting is worthy of a postcard for one of the best views that Vancouver can offer.  

Also if you like Indian food, try Vij's on West 11th near Granville.  The best in the city.

Rockwell's Grill at the Best Western Coquitlam Inn at 319 North Road in Coquitlam (Border of Coquitlam and Burnaby, near Lougheed Mall)

Prime Rib Special for 2 people for $25.95 served with sauteed mushrooms, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and au juice... also has a 50 item Sunday Brunch...

very nice place, with indoor garden and pool and great staff....
