Good restaurants to work at?

I was wondering if anyone from the Clearwater, Florida area knows of any good restaurants to work at?? Or if your not familiar with the area, then just some good corporate restaurants to work?

I've waitressed on and off for a few years. I live on the other side of the Bay, I'm over in Tampa.

But I would recommend Crabby Bill's right on the beach. There is also one on the Causeway as well. Also Carrabbas would be a great place to work as well. (I know of one on US-19) If you wanted to head over to Tampa, any restaurant at International Plaza would be great!

You don't mention whether you are looking for front or back of the house.

The answer would be totally different for the two.

If you want to be a server, pick a busy place that you feel at ease with the atmosphere. Talk to some servers by eating there first. Ask them if they make consistent good money and if they get along well as a team.

One newer place that is very busy is Cheddar's on Roosevelt just east of US19. Also keep in mind the age and income level of the clientèle and whether you are comfortable serving them on a regular basis.
