  1. I really liked using K-12 Check out www.k12.com Great curriculum, great online resources, great customer service, etc., etc. etc.

  2. If you want something of the same quality as Apologia but without the Christian viewpoint I don't know of any.  Not to say they don't exist, but I personally haven't found them.  Apologia has more hands on lab activities than any other program I've seen.

I personally think you should consider attending Community College for you Science if you don't like Apologia.  Another option would be a secular distance Education program.

The University of Texas has a distance education High School program.  You probably have the option of only using it for certain classes and doing the rest as you please.

Google "University of Texas distance high school program".

Glencoe also has some secular High School materials that are supposed to be good, but I haven't personally checked them out.

Here is the link to the Glencoe Catalog

  3. dude, you have asked this before. I'm really not trying to be rude, I gather you are an inquisitive person, but I would just like to say if you don't like the answers you get here, hit the google search bar and start some research on your own.

No big deal. People answer according to their personal preferences on questions like this, there is no right or wrong answer, so it is no big deal if you don't like the answers.

oops, almost forgot to answer your question. Wouldn't want to get reported for not answering, again. :)

I like Abeka. Yes it is christian, but that is my opinion. i also like apologia.

  4. You might list a grade range to make it easier to recommend specific curricula.  You might check out www.singaporemath.com  or check out the homeschool buyers co-op www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org and look for their next group buy for CyberEd Plato science.  We're using that now and it is excellent - and for $20 you can't beat it!

Many people use http://www.noeoscience.com/index.html and there is a free online curriculum http://www.msnucleus.org/

If you are looking for high school level, checking out APcollegecentral for textbook suggestions.

    Hope this helps!

  5. For upper elementary we like "Real Science 4 Kids".  There is Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.  It is written by a Christian, but the books have absolutely NO religious content.

  6. You don't mention age, grade range, or topic, so here's some pickings:
