  1. a lemon (contains citric acid) conducts electricity when you insert a copper wire and an unfolded paper clip... look it up, stick it to your tongue and feel the shock!

  2. Here's the one I did when I was your age, and I won second at state and got an A in my class.

I found someone with diabetes (in this case, my father), and researched how the disease sometimes makes their feet numb. I began tracking my dad's blood sugar every day while secretly placing small rocks (sometimes called pebbles in parts of the country) in his socks. I kept track of how many pebbles it took before he noticed and what his blood sugar level was that day. You'll find some pretty interesting correlations and kind of p-off your pop while you're at it!

  3. This one won me the Science Fair in 10th grade - Grafting plants. Don't freak out - it's really easy, just sounds hard.

Grafting (also called splicing) is basically the process of taking two different plants and trying to make them grow into one plant. If I were you, I would choose a control plant (say a rose, for example), and buy 4 of them. Let one rose grow by itself without doing anything to it. Then, choose 3 different plants (for example, plant A, B, and C). You'll end up trying to grow plant A with a rose, plant B with a rose, and plant C with a rose.
