Good seats for Yankees game

Question

I'm looking to get tickets from Stub Hub (its come to that) for the Yankees v. Jays game on August 29. Tickets are outrageously expensive and I want to make sure I get half-decent seats for the prices being asked.

I'm considering (right-field) Bleachers, Tier Reserved MVP and Tier Box MVP. Any advice on which is the best area to sit - we're looking for atmosphere and decent sight lines but may have to trade-off somewhat between the two.

Bleachers are the cheapest and I have read that it can be quite an experience there.

It's probably sold out.  The best think you can hope to do is get some ticket from scalpers, and hope they are good.

really? I remember that the last time the Red Sox were in town I got tickets to both Mussina's game and Chamberlain's game both were right behind the catcher (for the past years I've had season tickets in this area, so I can tell you, pretty good) and one was 3rd row and the the other one was 5th row, I got both like a day before the games for like $300 each, which you know, for yankee tickets, vs boston, those pitchers, those seats... pretty good. Oh I got them on stub hub, Although a friend of mine used to have his season tickets in Tier Reserved MVP and they were pretty good, good view, and as for atmosphere? Youre in YANKEE STADIUM, it doesn't get more intense than that!

I miss my season tickets...

Bleachers are a very fun experience. The atmosphere is like nothing else. However, if this is your first time going to Yankee Stadium, I don't recommend bleacher seats. There is a different entrance and you are confined to that area. You will not be able to walk around the stadium. In that case, get Tier Reserved because they should be the cheapest. Then you will be able to walk around and explore the Stadium. Also, you could always move up when it gets later into the game.

Bleachers on the field level are fine but if you go for the upper decker bleachers you will see c**p.

i had bleacher seats and you could see very well.  It was also nice because you can see the whole field.  Have fun at the game.
