Good set of golf clubs?

Any name brand used clubs in the last 25 years. If you like the way they look, get them.

People broke alot of course records with them. the new ones might go a yard further and a foot closer to the middle but that's it.

I suggest you look on ebay.  I bought my irons off ebay for 420 bucks.  They were regularly 800 bucks.  I call that a good deal.

Entry Level Cheap or Moderate player cheap?

Entry Level: What ever set at Walmart or Target. Ram, McGregror

For moderate: go to the local pro shop and see what last year's models are going for.

Ebays is another good place to look. I know the Ping g5s are a good price at this time.

Putter cost 20.00

Woods 3 and 5: 60.00



Total cost: 300.00 for a good decent and economical set of clubs.

Depends what you think cheap is.  Go on Ebay.  Good brands are easy to figure out but it depends what you like, there are so many choices.  Cleveland are very good clubs and seem to be economical when purchased new.

take a wander through second hand store , sporting goods , slow time pro shops good prices on used equipment . try newspapers . post add in paper . try not to go online to much risk on condition . or go through my basement . find used hy birds they do work . do not bother with driver just use three wood . good luck

There are basically three types of golf club sets. Expensive, well made top brand name golf clubs like Callaway, Nike and Titleist; cheap and nasty golf clubs and custom golf clubs.

I recently reviewed some custom made golf clubs from G.R.I.P. (see link below) and I genuinely believe that they are the best value for money.

Innovative, well made, unique and cheap.
