Good shampoo for greasy hair u.k only?

my hair goes greasy really quickly and its driving me mad!! iv tried a few different shampoos but they dont work what are some good ones, my hair has no colour or bleach on it and its blonde ?

I don't know if Suave is in the UK, but I have the same kind of hair as you, and Suave works. Don't buy anything you can't see through. If the shampoo is creamy white, it'll make your hair even more greasy.

i use original source shampoo which smells really good. I also use herbal essences but its not that good in terms of grease.

try a little dish soap mixed with your regular shampoo, it really does work, but use a rinse after wards

I have had this problem since my first baby was born and there does not seem to be many varieties of greasy hair shampoo anymore.

A good one I found is this:

which is great as it is SLES and Paraben Free (nasty chemicals found in a lot of personal cosmetic products).  The tea tree oil helps my greasy hair.  They also do a conditioner.

I find that the organic shampoos seem to help more too.  The above has organic ingredients but does not seem to be totally organic.  Personally I would steer clear of the well known brands found in the shops as they have nasties in which do not help the natural balance on your skin.

Also I would change brands every couple of bottles.  I have about 2 or 3 favourite brands which I rotate otherwise they don't seem to be as effective.  Also try this range, Hair Juice, by Daniel Galvin Jnr.  The melon one is great

Don't wash your hair every day because it will always get greasy by the time you come to wash it again the next day. Try a dry shampoo to use in between washing. You just spray it in and brush out.

What about Herbel Esscences?

It works really well, and since I've been using it I can last 4-5 days before it starts going a bit greasy.

I use herbel esscences chinese cinnamon. (the red bottle)

Sounds discusting, but it smells delicious :)

Keep in mind that all hair will go greasy if it is washed too much! It adds too much moisture in your hair and goes into Oil Overload! 2 or 3 washes a week will be fine! More than that and your hair will actually be GREASIER!

Have you tried some of the good brands like Bed Head? It's a very good brand and it lasts longer than the cheap ones you get from boots.

Seriously, all high-street shampoos aren't much cop, the only ones that really succeed in keeping your hair not looking greasy are the expensive salon ones. :(  On the plus side you don't need to use as much per wash so it should last a good while.

my hair is blonde and is not easy to keep clean either. I use any clear looking (not lotion kind) of shampoo. Usually vo5 and once a week I rinse with Lemon Juice to totally clean the residue.
