Question:

Good sites that help you choose what to do in university/what career path to follow?

I'm an A2 student, and my college are really starting to pressurise us into applying for uni! Problem is, I still have no idea what I want to do! I really don't want to take a gap year because I know I'll waste it. I'm thinking about taking a Foundation in Art, but I'm really not 100% sure, and I wanna know what else I could do.

Does anyone know any good sites that give you advice, or help you choose what would be a good degree fo you?

Thanks !!!

  1. The UCAS website is fantastically comprehensive and will guide you through what is available (in your interests), and what the course contents are. Do also have a look at the Gap site because it offers an awful lot - particularly work (paid and unpaid) overseas. Have a chat with Connexions aswell - or do you have a student adviser at college who can guide you through options (that is what I do!).

good luck - listen to your instincts

  2. try the career center website or go talk to some one at you local jobcenterplus office or check out there web site.

  3. http://www.prospects.ac.uk

You will find everything you require there, loads of college/uni students use it.
