Good skateboard for beginners?

I am considering taking up skateboarding... what would be a good board to buy? I want to get a complete, so I don't have to deal with assembling it myself.

I am 19, a girl, and 5'4" if that makes any difference.

So, what do you suggest, and where should I buy it?

  1. ccs.com - get an almost deck that is 8". pick out the one u like. almost decks are pretty strong and good for beginners. get tensor trucks and ricta wheels. MOB griptape. bones reds bearings

  2. like the person before me go too ccs.com and get an almost or a zero or a enjoi they all have good pop and awesome flip and they last long expecially for a beginner i would get venture krux or independent trucks, luckys or shortys hardware, mob or jessup or blackmagic griptape, ricta or spitfire wheels, and bones reds bearings.

  3. Ok i highly recommend mini logo deck.

#1 they are very good and sell for like 30$

#2 you do not have to buy a complete if you dont want to put it together cause if you have a local zumiez shop near you the put everything together for you.

  4. Any Team deck is fine for a begginer. pro decks are specalized to fit their standards. there are alot of different companies so u can pick which one u like the most. try playing a game like ea skate or tony hawks proving ground to see which board u would like. for trucks, get ventures, they're more stable and are good for learning to grinds such as 50-50s etc. for wheels, get a 53 millameter wheel. any brand. they are big, but not too big. perfect for a beginner. any bearing is fine.
