I'm looking for a good little ski resort with plenty of snow, somwhere in the Alps, I live in germany so i could drive or get a cheap flight. I am working on a budget so the cheaper the better but not tacky.

  1. Firstly look at last minute deals. Self catering are the cheapest, unless you find a rock bottom deal. Look at the packages from smaller companies but thats not to say that you can find them from the bigger tour operators. Check out the resorts with longer transfers as these sometimes have less people going. Good Luck!

  2. try Flaine (www.grand-massif.com)

The snow there is excellent and more is forecast this week

The resort isn't the prettiest resort you'll ever see, but the skiing is great

  3. Just got back from borovets (Bulgaria) it was ment to be cheap btbh

it was not much cheaper than say Austria and the runs are mostly served by drag lifts. They also like to short change you, this is very common.

I would go to maybe Andorra or Austria they might be a little more expensive but they have far more pistes for you to enjoy.

France has quite a few resorts but they can be more expensive.............have a look around you might find something you are looking for.

    good luck enjoy your trip.

  4. Skiing is supposed to be good in Bulgaria, and that's one of the cheapest areas of Europe.

  5. andora is 1 of the cheapest about and is duty free with good night life soldeo sports hotel has gondla in the hotel a wee bit pricey but ideal location
