  1. ball pythons are great me and my brother each has one and he's only 11 they are cool and they have never bit us before just make sure you handle them a lot so they get used to you. our friends have one to and it only bit them once when it was a baby. corn snakes are good to but they tend to bite. maybe a bearded dragon they are cool to but I would go with the ball python. :)

here's some info about ball pythons :)) and they're not to exspensive we got ours for only 50 dollars each but they are usually a little over that.

    info on bearded dragons:

ball pythons are easier to care for though and better for playing around with and handling

  2. I agree with those snake selections also. Beardies are also awesome. Uromastyx, leo geckos, other ground geckos...What about turtles/tortoises or amphibians? The only thing I don't agree with is iguanas. Do not get an iguana until you've done extensive research and have more experience. They are a lot more complicated than people realize.

  3. well, I can tell you a few things never to get: Iguana, they get huge, and pretty mean at times. They are tiny and cheap now, but will grow big fast!

Burmese python! They also get way to huge even for an adult to handle.

Any kind of monitor lizards. They get large, and can be dangerous to handle.

Red tail boa. Although not as big as some, still best left to a more advanced handler.

now here are some good ones:

Ball Pythons can be excellent pets, and are easy to find, even in local animal shelters. Plated lizards, bearded dragons (my 7yr old cousin has one), large skinks. Geckos can be cool, but are more to look at, and not to handle.

  4. a Cornsnake, kingsnake or ratsnake would be good, preferably i wouldn't start on a ball python but seen as though you had experience with a burm then i would recommend a bp, they don't get  large, don't need to much space and you can get some un- real morphs. BTW I'm  14 as well and i got 7 bps! lol GL.

  5. i have 2 iguanas...they are not that hard to care for i juyst turned 15.. i also have a beardie nd a mountain horned dragon, and 2 leo's mhd are kewl but they are pretty wild

  6. Corn snakes are pretty cool and come in a lot of colors.

  7. get a ball python or a bearded dragon there one of the best pets you could get

  8. for snakes kingsnakes, cornsnakes, and milksnakes all make good pets.  one of my kingsnakes is chilling out on my computer desk right now.  since you have owned a burm then another good choice for you would probably also be a ball python.  bp's don't get very big so your mom should be ok if it bites you at any time.  all of these snakes can tolerate handling.

i don't know that much about lizards...the only one i have any experience with is iguanas and they are great pets.

    good luck!

  9. a ball python or a corn snake

  10. Corn go with a Corn they are the best I have one and they are great and easy

  11. corn snake, ball python, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, red-eared slider... there is a near infinite number of reptiles you can get.  do your research first to make sure that it is really what you want and that you can take care of it.

  12. i just got 2 corn snakes and they're really cool , they were only $40 each, and they dont grow very big, the problem is the the accesories and the tank.

    Good luck choosing!!
