Good solo songs?

Question

I have my annual school concert coming up and my music teacher said i have to do a solo this year but im having trouble finding a song.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

im open to any style at the moment, i just want it to be something that the audience isnt going to die of boredom to haha.

I can sing fairly high and have a decent range

I performed at my school Talent Show and I sang a Taylor Swift song. I liked it because it was one of my favorite songs and I didn't have to sit in my room and practice upon hours and hours because I was used to singing it in the car ! LOL

I sang Stay Beautiful(http://youtube.com/watch?v=1xirygtPqwo) and practically got an encore.

I think almost any of her songs that have a faster pace than Teardrops on my Guitar (http://youtube.com/watch?v=R7DRtl6CTqc) would keep them out of boredom.

Also when me and this other girl tried to do a solo we did it too Picture To Burn and the guys were like laughing and were like, "Yeah you are going out with my best friend!" And like everyone could come out and 'Take A Bow' with you and applaud !

The only downside is that it's a little slower than the others !

I recommend trying "Say That You Love Me" it is sung by many people and by both genders and also maybe sung as a duet.
