Good subjects to talk about online?

Ever run into those people who are just impossible to talk to? Normally my friends and I can talk freely, but my best friends boyfriends is impossible! She wants the rest of us to get to know him, and I am trying really, but any ideas of what to say in those awkward moments when he just says lol to everything?

yeah, talk in person. If he says "lol" in person, he's a dork!

Sounds like you are doing what you can to get to know him. If he doesn't respond back, sooner than later he will figure out he has to be a participant and not an observer to the conversation.

i would say one of these..

-how was your day/ what did you do today?

-what are you doing tomorrow?

-what are your hobbies?

BUT never ever ask her what she wants to talk about

most girls HATE that.
