I already do press-ups almost every day, do weights now and then but not often as I should.

BTW I'm talking about techniques that can generally be done at home

  1. do push up claps thats when in push up possition you push up as hard as u can then do a clap in mid air do as many as u can this will help develop explosiv power

punching comes from your feet you force the energy up threw your body up your leg threw your hips and out your arm its called kinetic linking p.s do a boxing class and if you hit the jaw most of the time the leg will go and then down they go

  2. push ups, do handstand against a wall and do push ups upside down, grab 10 lb. dumbells and throw punches in the air till u cant lift ur arms, this answer comes from my brother, a blackbelt for 2 yrs, and kickboxer

  3. hi, i don't know how strong you are but i would recommend you do some shadow boxing with dumbbell's with a weight that offers only  a little resistance not to heavy this should strengthen your arms.so when you got no weights in your hands  you should hit harder and faster.

  4. If you want to increase your punching strength, the best thing you can do is take a boxing class to learn how to punch correctly. I know it seems like punching is a very common sense thing, but proper technique will help you utilize more muscles and get stronger hits.
