Good techno/eloctronica making program?

is there any program i can download and make my own techno type music?

If you use windows Magix music maker is the best. it cost like 50 dollars but i got mine for like 20 on ebay. it is the best, i love mine. it is easy to use and i have never been dissatisfied. the only thing is you kind of need at least 1 gig of ram. i have a fairly slow computer and i can run it but a lot of times it will lag. it's great.
