I am a 40 year old women (starting to get into shape) and I just ran a 400 meter in 72 seconds. Is that just what is expected. Should I be happy and continute to up my time or is this time something I can be proud of. I did not sprint the whole race. I am just not physically fit to sprint it all but I did sprint the last 100 meters, although slowed drastically the last 15 meters.
