I've got some lemon thyme growing in my herb garden and I was wondering if there's a particular dish that it's especially tasty to use in?

  1. I make a cheese spread with cream cheese, mayo and sour cream.  Add the thyme and any other fresh herbs you are growing.  Sometimes I add some roasted red peppers or sun dried tomatoes.

  2. Chicken or fish.  I have made baked haddock with thyme and a hint of rosemary before (and of course a little lemon).  All of my customers absolutely loved it.  I also make a citrus chicken dish that thyme would accent it very well.  I think I'll actually try that!

  3. I use it on fish, and also chicken, but i like it on mostly on fish. trout, salmon, halibut steak, almost any fish.

  4. just marinade meat ,fish, chicken with it,wine and some olive oil.yum

  5. I put it on chicken b*****s (skin on) with lots of garlic and brushed with olive oil and baked.

    Or:

crush/grind it up in a marinade with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and marinate boneless b*****s
