Two of my friends and I are looking to go on a vacation around may 15 of next year. We are all twenty years old and therefore don't have the extra income to splurge on a huge vacation. I am looking to spend no more then $1,200 each, and thats including food/gas prices/any extra unavoidable expenses. I have looked into going to disney world, disney land and also several different cruise lines. I am asking for some input, If you have experienced a Great vacation at a reasonable price, I would really appreciate hearing from you. By the way we will be traveling from Ny (and we are looking for a nice destination a good distance away from home).Thank you in advance for all your help.

  1. Disney is our favorite, but its not really low priced. Universal studios is also fun. Anyway, here is a website you may want to browse through. Many ideas there

  2. http://www.buschgardens.com/buschgardens...

go here and click on book a vacation. they have different packages with hotel and buschgarden passes and different prices that fit anybody's budget.  all in one package is always a good deal.  Youll be surprised check it out if interested.

  3. You can do Disney World for that, if you are careful about when you go--hotel prices at Disney vary by 50% over the course of the year--and where you stay--4 adults can spend between $100 and $600 a night.

See this page on designing a Disney World trip to a target total budget for help.

It won't match you perfectly, as it assumes 4 people, and assumes one person under 10 (which makes that one cheaper) and Disney also charges extra if you have more than 2 adults in a room--I think it's 10 bucks per extra adult per nite--but it's enough for your planning: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Once you have done your rough planning you can then go to this page to sharpen up the budget and see if you can actually do it: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Hope this helps and have a great trip!! Dave

  4. Go to your local travel agency and book a trip to Cancun, Mexico.  I go every year sometimes twice and it's usually around $700-$900 for a whole week!  That includes the airfare, hotel, ride to/from your hotel, all your food and drinks including alcoholic drinks. It's an amazing time and it's always a blast!  The average temp. is 85 degrees plus and the water is amazingly blue and the white powder sand beaches are gorgeous.  There is so much stuff to do in Cancun you will never be bored.  The nightlife in Cancun is awesome and a blast. Coco Bongo's and Senor Frogs are great!!! I suggest the Riu Caribe.  It's a great hotel and has swim-up bars in the pool.  It has like five restaurants and every night they put on shows in the lobby bar and the animacion staff play games with you in the pool.  It's a great time!  Even only being 20 you can drink there, cuz in Mexico there is NO drinking age.  For like $45 we rode sea-doos in the ocean for 2 hours and then they took us snorkelling on a coral reef and we took underwater pics.  At the resort you can even get scuba lessons for free.  They give you margaritas in a coconut shell to drink out of.  It's pure paradise and you will have the time of your life.  I HIGHLY suggest you book a trip there.  You WON'T regret it. You can I.M. me at kingcaribe and I can tell you more or even send you pics if you are interested.  Cancun is the greatest place to travel to if you're looking for a fun time with the girls for the summer.
