Good vampire movies?

I'm expanding my collection of DVDs. I really like "vampire" movies and books - but I admit I don't know many.. At least not good ones. So, do you know any?

I'm also looking for books so if anyone has any suggestions - I'd really appreciate it

MY DAUGHTER IS ABSOLUTELY ENGAGED IN THE TWILIGHT SERIES THIS SUMMER. SHE CANNOT PUT IT DOWN. The author is Stephanie Meyer. The movie comes out December 12 for Twilight and there are 4 books out now.
