Good vegetarian snacks?

What are some good healthy vegetarian snacks that you enjoy. Preferably not chips. thank you

  1. No offense, but to me this question is strange to me. Because even when I wasn't vegetarian I wouldnt snack on meat.

    I mean I cant imagine many people walking around snacking on a packet of sasuages.

    So Your options are endless...popcorn, fruit, nuts, cheese and bicuits,  dried fruit, yogurt, soy icecream...

  3. cut up butternut squash thinly and bake for 15 mins

    hopefully will go crispy

    and voila!

    healthy crisps!

  6. The best vegetarian snack I've found is nutritional, wholesome, freshly peeled carrots.

  7. icecream with warm chocolate syrup. YUMMMM.

    I like fish sticks too but, if your a vegan then that doesn't work. Another good snack is saltines with cream cheese! (yum, except no very healthy...o well) Pimento cheese sandwiches are delicious.

  12. Well fruits and vegetables obviously, sandwiches with no meat, salads, yogurt. Endless possibilities.

  16. I usually go for nuts, they're both nutritious and filling. True North makes a lot of different types of nut clusters that are great for snacking on.

  17. if you have a Trader Joe's around you they have a ton of stuff. i got roasted garlic hummus and ate it with carrot sticks, it's a good substitute for chips and dip.

  23. I love celery and peanut butter. Or just a fruit salad. There are so many healthy and delicious snacs.

  24. I was a vegetarian for 3 years, from age 12 to 15.

    I seriously think the best thing to eat is cut up vegetables with dip, fruit salads and cold cut tofu* meat, olives, pickles cheese and cracker ^_^ <3

  25. They've just started selling roasted soya beans in the Tesco near me, I love them, they taste great and they are high in protien and fibre.

  26. grapes. great for on the go. also cereal. with or without milk. carrots, apples, yogurt. trail mix, pop corn, and peanuts/cashews. peanuts are a good source of protein, which you need to stay strong.

    one snack i actually got on Yahoo! Answers, was frozen peanut butter balls. just spoon some peanut butter on some wax paper and freeze in in the freezer. you can also squirt some chocolate syrup in the middle.
