  1. In L.A. there's Pierce College , where they offer Animal Science programs if you want to become a Vet Tech or maybe transfer..

  2. Kansas State at Manhattan, Kansas. Hard to get in.

  3. the number one vet school in the US is michigan state university... you have to have VERY VERY good grades to get into there BUT if you do you pretty much are set... they have a very large campus and is one of the big ten schools

  4. Tufts University in Massachusetts.

  5. Michigan State

    Cornell University

Washington State University (in Pullman, WA)

  6. LSU in Baton Rouge, LA has a GREAT vet school.  They also have several options for students to work while attending school on campus.  I have never heard of a graduate of their program having a hard time getting a job.  I attended LSU undergrad in Dairy Science.  They have a lot of scholarship funds in different alumni groups that go unused.  You should call around to the different departments (Animal Science, Poultry Sci, Dairy Sci, etc) to see if there are any available resources for you.  Baton Rouge is a fun place to live and you cannot imagine how awesome the tail gating events are during football season.  GEAUX Tigers!!!!  =)

Good luck to you wherever you attend.  Vets are noble people and don't get nearly enough recognition for all the contributions they make.  I have been in sales since graduating.  I sell medical equipment but still think I would have enjoyed going on to vet school.  Hang in there!

  7. Michigan State University

  8. I have heard A&M is a good school to go to, there are great vet schools all over the country though.

    You could try A&M's website.

    Hope I could help
