why don't you get a plus sized individual to eat a big mac or something obviously fatterning in class for a few moments? And start out by asking what the audience might think about when looking at this person. The audience doesn't have to answer, but you might say what they might think. That would be an interesting way to start.

Grease on a paper towel or paper plate from a plate of fries or something.  

Find out the equivalent of how much fat and sugar is in a supersized meal.  Put it into little plastic bowls with lids and pass that around the room.
