  1. Some of the east of London  is a bit dangerous but don't  worry most of it is safe you you wont get mugged or anything (hopefully). Or just dont walk around at night ! Probibly hard though as London never sleeps !

  2. London has hundreds of areas its very big so I did it by London boroughs:

    Good London Boroughs

    Merton

    Kingston upon Thames

    Richmond upon Thames

    Westminster

    Kensington & Chealsea

    Hammersmith and Fulham

    High Crime

    London Boroughs of:

    Southwark

    Hackney

    Lambeth

    Newham

    Lewisham

    Tower Hamlets

Some bad areas within those boroughs and others:

Brxton, Stockwell, Homerton, Clapton, Stratford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Stoke Newingtonm, Stonebridge, Lewisham, Peckham, Tottenham, Lambeth , Clapham, Battersea, Dalston, Hackney Downs, London Fields, Stamford Hill, Hoxton I could go on theres so many.

The top worst I say are:

Brixton, Clapton, Stockwell, Peckham, London Fields ,Homerto & Hackney Downs

If you are visiting London I would say just stay in Central London the main shopping district and tourist attractions crime is low around there but if you wonder onto inner London communities and beyond your likely to be in a area with crime.

  3. There are lots of dangerous bits of London that I'd avoid at night. In North London, Kentish Town, Kilburn, Archway, etc are a bit dodgy; and a lot of South London is pretty grim - Streatham, Peckham, New Cross etc.

That said, you can run into trouble anywhere in a bit city late at night so keep yourself safe. If you can get a taxi, do. Don't carry lots of cash / phone / iPod in full view.
