My 5 month old Bengal is getting to the stage where he likes to get into everything...what can I do to discipline him? He loves water so a spray bottle won't work...any ideas?

  1. punch him... if that doesn't work try vinegar and water even if it likes water it may not like the vineger with the water

  2. A spray bottle of water, clapping, loud voice or a whistle. Or all of these. That's all you can do. They eventually learn through repitition.

  3. Try the pavlovian response.  I used a can of air freshener with mine.  I would tell the cat what i wanted it to do, get down or stop what it was doing and then spray the air freshener in its direction.  Then i would go over and give it a little flick on the back end.  Eventually all i had to do was say what I wanted and use the air freshener and it would stop.  Now I almost don't even have to use the air freshener.

  4. Throw a light wash cloth at him (or in his direction) to move his focus elsewhere. If he's scared of it, great, if not, he's still doing something else and it doesn't hurt him.

  5. i disaplin my cat by spraying it with water, like when she jumps on the table or bites, you just need a spray bottle and some water. good luck

  6. just call its name and call no sternly, as your saying no remove him from what you want him to stop doing, it seems like an endless battle but it worked with my cats, now i only have to say no and they move away from what it is there doing (about to eat kids diner or somthing) a simple 'no' stops them now and there only 8months old!

  7. Never punch an animal, that is abuse. You can try using rewards such as foods and attention when she is good, but ignore her when she is bad. We toilet trained Oakley, our kitten. When I say toilet, I mean the human toilet!
