Good ways to ask a guy to homecoming?

i was just wondering you knew any good ways to ask a guy to homecoming?? i've already asked 2 guys, but they're both busy. this is what i said... so are you busy on (whatever date goes here)?? because i was just wondering if you would like to go with me to my homecoming dance? is that a good way to ask them?? also how can i not be so nervous when asking them? any help is appreciated!!

There's nothing wrong with your word choice in asking them to the dance.   Just wear a smile and sound sincere.

say do you want to go to homecoming as my date and if he says yes your sorted but if he says no just say as friends then and if he says no to that he`s not worth it but i would hurry up before he gets asked by somebody else

ask them if there busy (good job) uh then ask them if they wouldn't mind going with you! and then if they look a lil uncomfortable say just as friends!
