low calorie and stuff doesnt seem to work, at least not for me, if you have a way to do it better then that would be cool too haha. but yeah so basically im sjut wondering if anybody knows some good ways to lose weight, i do exercise and i do watch what i eat. but i just want to know like the basic rules. like if i only eat one memal a day, cuz that doesss make me full believe it or not, then is that bad for me? cuz i've heard that doing that will make me GAIN weight? yeah, so thank you in advance (:

  2. You have already realised some of the problems with the eating patterns that you have been trying. Low calorie diets, low fat diets, low anything diets do not work. Eating only one meal per day also does not work as you have found out.

    You need to eat 4 times per day, at least 2 and 1/2 hours apart. This will tell the body that there is a plentiful supply of food available. When you only eat once or twice per day, your body will store up fat in case there is a famine coming. Even you if only eat a very small amount each time, 4 times per day is better than only once or twice.

    EDIT Well that's part of your problem though try to eat a small amount of food multiple times a day, that will basically make your body realize you have plenty of food available and there's no reason to store it. Try to go for at least  4 small meals a day.

    just keep working out. lower your food intake a little. eat healthy. sleep more.

    lots of running man.

    and there will come a point where you will start to realize that your weight is starting to stablize.

    this is because you've rid of most of your fat and you are starting to gain muscle.

    muscle weighs more than fat, so don't fret too much about this. from this point, you'll just have to keep a steady weight.

    also, good rule of thumb...

    1lb = 3500 cals.

    figure...burn 500cals a day...7 days in a week...

    you lose 1lb.!
