Good ways to make money if I'm 15?

Hi there,

I'm 15, going to school and I live in London. I need to raise about £500 in as little time as possible.

Basically I want to know what sorts of part-time jobs I can do at my age, bearing in mind that school starts at 8:40 and ends at 3:20 and some nights I'll have homework :D If you could give me a rough idea of wages, or names of companies that might let me work with them, that would be good too.

I've thought about paper rounds and stuff but I want to know what other jobs there are out there.

Thanks so much!

  2. your 15 so you will get around £3.50 an hours,

    thats slavery right there

  3. one nights work with an arab, or 100 hours in Mac Ds

you need to break it down, to say £50 or 100 per week then go from there, because you are under 16/18 it wont be easy.

look for work in shops, any friends parents got companies?

  4. start doing paper round at your nearest newsagent shop.

  5. you can baby sitt that way you can do your home work and get good maoney and make sure that you get a babysitting job from one of your relitives "they tend to pay more" hope this works! =D

  6. Get a paper round anyway, you can do them in the morning before you go to school.

Not many places I know take on staff under 16.  I used to work in Dolcis just after I turned 16 and I seem to remember there was someone there younger than me.  I think it will be up the employers discretion though, it was £3 an hour (but that was 10 years ago).

Also we used to buy large boxes of sweets like cream eggs etc and sell them off at school for profit.  People will complain that you're charging too much but they will buy them anyway guaranteed.
