Good ways to make time fly?

I get to see my puppy saturday (He'll be 5 weeks) and I'll get him early august, on my trip back up from Florida (We're picking him up on the way home). But I'm SO anxious!!! Florida going to go by fast, but the two weeks until then, I'll be at home doing NOTHING. (I don't drive, so I can't go anywhere.)

What can I do to make time fly? I like sewing, writing, actually, anything that involves creating something is good for me.

  1. Make a Kerchief for the puppy or knit or chrochet or needlepoint  a collar.

You may even knit or crochet a cover for a pretty doggie bed.

Sew , knit or crochet a blanket for the little creature. Most of them LOVE to be covered while sleeping.

I wish you as much joy with your friend as I have had for

    years with ours.

  2. try playing games listen o music or eat

  3. bead works?

  4. Try visiting neighbors. Take over a pie or a cake. Especially older neighbors. They get lonely as you do being home all day with no visitors. Just sit and talk awhile. It will pass the time, you will feel rewarded, and your spirits will be brightened up. You might also advance into making a lap robe for elderly friends or neighbors. By sitting around doing nothing elderly people get chills from not moving around. A lap robe is just the ticket. You may even try reading to an elderly neighbor. Anything, but try to combine your interest into having it help someone else other then yourself. Show off your talents and be a blessing to others at the same time. You will feel so much better for having done it.

  5. -Make some cute puppy toys for your puppy to chew on.

-Make a warm blanket for your pup to sleep in.

-Write a novel or short story about a dog or puppy. You could even write a poem or song.

-Make a music playlist with a dog/puppy theme.

  6. how abotu learning to do prestamped, prequilted, cross stitch bbay or lap quilts, or read a good book.

  7. As you like sewing, why not to try cross-stitching! Creative, great fun, cheap, and suits even for those awful rainy days!
