Good websites to check for hurricans and storms?

Question

am lookin for a website to check if there is a hurricane or a storm or a cyclone whatever

becoz there are some rumors that there is a cyclone headin to the country where i live whic is in asia or to be more precise in the gulf area so i was wonderin if there is any good websites to check if that is really true plz no one tell me wunderground.com already checked it and didnt understand a thing

Here seems to be a good web site that has information.  Just click in the area of concern for you:

For Oman, this page seems the most appropriate:

It does not appear that there is any tropical cyclone threatening that area at this time.

It will tell you hurricanes, tropical storms, forcast, warnings, watching, snow fall. ETC!
