  1. well i'm not going to tell you exactly what to write but you should just say that " hello everyone,i'm leaving to go back to school, most of you were on vacations so i couldn't tell you in person. Probably in the future i'd like to come back and work for this company again. Thanks for the opportunity and hope to see you soon"

                                                      YOUr NAME HERE

i think that is simple and sweet. good luck!

  2. Write a hand written note to friends and coworkers that are gone.  Tell it in person to those there and to your boss tell them and when gone, write a note thanking them for the experience (etc.)

Very smart and thoughtful.  Good luck!

  3. Its been fun, its been real, but it has'nt been real fun! Just kiddin, this isn't a goodbye, rather a See ya later. Thank you everyone, ill see you on tha flip side!

  4. Dear _________,

During my summer job here, you have helped me so much. I just wanted to say thank you, and how much it meant to me. You have been an inspiration, and I will remember it always.

    Thank you again,

    your name..

Or something cheesy/kissupy like that. .Just don't be too kissy. Also don't put that you want to come  back unless its to your boss or supervisor. The other workers don't need to know that.

    Good luck

  5. Just say "It was a pleasure working with you guys, I've learned so much in such a short time here.  I would like to personally thank your for the help and support you've given me this summer and I hope we'll someday work together again".  Something like that.

  6. If there are very few people and you have the time (and interest), you can draft personal e-mails to each of them thanking them for the specific help you have taken from them.  Alternately write a common mail to them all and tell them how you learnt during your internship and also enjoyed working at the company. Finally, if you want to have a chance to rejoin, write in the end that you look  forward to interacting with them in the future :)

  7. Students in our department usually send a "thank you" card with a short note of appreciation.  It never hurts to send a nice tray of assorted cookies, either.  We LOVE that.
