Goods sent to wrong address?

About a month ago we recieved a huge box which we assumed contained this blow up guest bed that we had ordered but when we opened it it contained loads of bran new clothes that looked like they were meant to be delivered to a shop. On the box there is an address and we think it was meant to be delivered to germany, and i looked it up on the internet and there is a shop there that sells this clothing. We have been waiting for sum1 to realise but no one has come. How long until we can get rid of it?

well you should of got in touch with post office, as this parcel does not belong to you, wasit addressed to you, in your name? if not then you should not have opened it. you should of asked post office to pick it up, telling them it was delivered to addresswhich was supposed to of been delivered to germany, they should pick it up, if not then pack clothes in box retape it tell them your postman/woman delivered this to our address by mistake, im not paying to post it to germany, asit should not arrived at my address at the 1st place let them deal with it, if that postman did this he should not be delivering mail, okay.as it was a month ago, say you have just returned from a upsetting family function and found the parcel lodged outside behind a bin, okay let the post office deal with re-posting it to the original place it should have been sent too.
