Google doc not up to scratch?

I have been testing out the much hyped google doc. application and found it wanting in several regards.

1. Inability to upload documents in batches using drag and drop or ftp.

2. lack of pdf support.

3. Luck of offline editing support which could be achieved by creation of a desktop doc editor.

what I loved about it is the ability to work on the same file concurrently and be on the same page.

What do you like/ dislike about google doc?

Well, yeah, it does have those shortcomings, but remember, it is free. You didn't pay $150 for it. Also, it is online, and saves disc space.
