Goopy sleep comes out of my dog's eyelid?

My black lab has allergies at the moment and i am giving her medicine for it. i notice she has goopy yellow sleepish stuff the comes out of her bottom eyelid and i have been wiping a lot of it out lately. do u think it's a side effect to the medicine or her allergies? My dog and i thank you! hehe :)

Its most prob hayfeaver or something. In the summer my dog gets it as well as hair loss and we have to take her the vet each year for medication.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but it could be the eye tears that some dogs get.  I honestly haven't heard of black labs having it.. so it could be a side affect to the medicine.

Is the medicine prescribed by the vet??

if not then discontinue using it and go to the vet. If it is veterinary prescribe continue as the vet stated but take the dog back to have her eye looked at. It could be an allergy or it could be conjunctivitis.

It sounds like it could be from the allergies, or it could be an infection. Your vet can give you an ointment to put in her eyes that will help.
