The Macedonian star has revealed the reason behind his choice of a permanent move to the Partenopei, and has stated that he is very excited at being part of the Naples outfit.
Goran Pandev has revealed that it was the resourcefulness of Napoli that tempted him to sign with the club, and has stated that he is loving the mentality that has been created by victory in the team.
The Macedonian international spent the last season at the Azzurri on-loan from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, and his performances were enough to impress the Naples outfit into signing the player on permanent basis.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 was the key factor that lured him into making a permanent move.
The former Inter Milan player went on to reveal that the Partenopei have a glowing mentality at the moment, and stressed that the positivity has a lot to do with their success in the last season.
The Macedonian attacker was adamant that he is delighted to have made the choice of moving the Azzurri, and insisted that he has complete belief in the wonderful project at the club.
While talking to the press, the 28-year-old said:
“Napoli offers a thousand resources, this is why I opted for them. Victory creates the mentality we have now. I believe in this project and it gives me great excitement.”
Pandev went on to state that he is always ready to compromise on his playing position for the good of the team, and stressed that he plays for the unit rather than for his personal laurels.
The Partenopei striker stressed that he is motivated to take on Champions Juventus in the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana, and insisted that the a win in the final will be a great way to kick-off their 2012-12 campaign.
“With Mourinho I played as a full-back and I would do it again for Mazzarri. Mourinho and Samuel Eto’o told me that in the end you don’t play, you win. With this mentality we will face the Italian Super Cup Final against Juventus [on August 11].” He added.
